To create a safe and supportive space for young female students to understand and embrace God’s love while equipping them with practical knowledge and essential items to navigate the challenges of adolescence.

Summary

On March 31, 2023, the Love Jar Foundation returned to Osu Rangoon Junior High School for the fourth edition of its “Love for Adolescent Girls” initiative. This all-ladies outreach focused on educating young female students about the love of God through Jesus Christ and providing valuable guidance on managing the physical and emotional changes that come with puberty.

The session emphasized the importance of self-worth and self-care, helping the girls understand the transformative love of Christ while addressing critical aspects of feminine hygiene and personal growth. The Foundation also distributed essential items such as sanitary pads, snacks, stationery, and sanitizers to ensure the girls’ hygiene, organization, and well-being were prioritized.

Outreach Highlights

 Spiritual Enrichment: The outreach conveyed the profound message of God’s love and how belief in Jesus Christ provides comfort and strength in life’s transitions.

 Health Education: A session by a nurse on the effects of puberty provided the girls with practical knowledge about the physical and emotional changes they experience.

Distribution of Essential Items: Each student received sanitary pads, snacks, stationery, and sanitizers, addressing their hygiene and organizational needs while adding a personal touch of care.

Engagement and Interaction: The girls actively participated in discussions, asking questions and sharing their thoughts in a supportive and uplifting environment.
